Pushkar, the holy place in the Indian state of Rajasthan is far-famed for its sacred lake and the only Brahma Temple in the world dedicated to Almighty Brahma - the lord of universe. Fable has it that this Pushkar Lake was made where Lord Brahma dribbled a lotus on the day of the full phase of the moon. Every year in the month of November, the famous Pushkar Fair is held for period of 7 days, commences on Noami and end on Kartik Poornima (Full Moon). The Pushkar Fair is preponderantly an assembling with lakhs of camels, cattle and horses for trade, with contributed attractions of games, races, local folk dances, song and amusement.
This tourist village of Pushkar is self-sustaining and is particularly projected to accompaniment the natural beauty of the spot.
