The tourist attractions of North-East India are comprised of the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur and Nagaland collectively known as “Seven Sister States” which are famous in the world for various types of adventure tourism and wildlife tours, tribal holidays, culture holidays etc. This part of north-east India is surrounded by Bhutan, China, Myanmar and Bangladesh having approximately 2000 Kms of border line and is connected with the rest of India by a narrow 20 km wide corridor of land. Indian subcontinent is the mosaic of the innumerable culture and traditions. The whole region of north east India is regarded as one of the most ethically and linguistically diverse regions in Asia, where every state has its own and distinct cultures and traditions. In addition to the various kinds of holidays in this region, the states alos provide full scope for angling, boating, rafting, trekking and hiking.
